SKIN CARE TIPS FOR DARK SPOT AND HYPER PIGMENTATION

As soon as you enter your 20s, the stress and pollution level take a toll on your skin and you end up developing acne, wrinkles etc. Then the facial dark spots starts showing up which makes the facial skin appear dull.

Hyperpigmentation is a skin condition that leaves spots, freckles and unwanted marks on the skin. It is a common, usually harmless condition in which patches of skin become darker in colour than the normal sorrounding skin.

Hyperpigmentation can be caused by sun damage, inflammation or other skin injuries including those related to acne vulgaris. Though many forms of hyperpigmentation are caused by an excess production of melanin.

Potato

Potato is known to contain an enzyme called catecholase. This helps to reduce the production of melanin in the skin. Melanin is often considered responsible for certain types of skin pigmentations. Potato helps to lighten the spots and make your skin tone even.

To Apply Potato

Cut potato into small slices.Take one slice and rub it directly on your skin in circular motion. Do this for about 3 to 5 minutes.Leave the residue on your skin for another 5 minutes.Wash it off with lukewarm water.
Follow the procedures 3 times a day.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has astringent properties. This makes it effective against pigmented and patchy skin. It also exfoliates the skin and removes dead skin cells. It makes your skin glow.

To Prepare and Apply Apple Cider  Vinegar

Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water.Use the solution to rinse your face.Leave it on for about 3 to 4 minutes.Wash your face with lukewarm water.
Follow the procedures 2 times daily.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil protects your skin from bacteria and germs. It also protects your skin from the harmful rays of the sun that are said to cause skin pigmentation. It lightens hyperpigmented skin. It also helps to remove dead skin cells and keeps your skin youthful.

To Prepare and Apply Coconut Oil

Melt some coconut oil in a pan or in the microwave.Leave it aside and wait for it to cool down.Wash your face and apply the oil.Massage your skin thoroughly.Leave it on for about 20 to 25 minutes.Wash it off with plain water.
Follow the procedures 3 times
